Time Warner Cable TV app for iPhone coming!
I'm sure you all know about TWC's awesome cable app that lets you watch TV on your iPad, but did you know that it's coming to the iPhone, and even your computer too? In an email that I got from TWC, their "latest update" monthly email, it says that the TWC app is coming to both these devices. Check out the pic.

I don’t see the use in this app if you can only use it in your home other than as a bathroom TV. Why not just turn on the TV and watch the show on a bigger screen or just wait while you’re in your house? I have and constantly use the DISH Remote Access app. Unlike the Time Warner app, it lets me stream live TV or recorded shows from my 922 SlingLoaded receiver to my iPhone or iPad. Even better is the fact that I don’t have to be at home just to use it. Whether I am on my way to work at DISH or going to school, I can stream. Streaming live TV is useful, and Time Warner adding the feature to iPhones was a good thing, but if have an app that isn’t portable on a device that was made to be portable, then why have it?
